  • Assertiveness project every Monday 7:30pm - 8:30pm
  • We can cook! Tuesdays and Thursdays 7pm - 9pm.
  • Arts / Crafts and Fashion Project starts mid January on Fridays 5pm - 7pm. Limited numbers so please book.

Peace Week

PeaceweekThe 7th Inner South Manchester Peace Week have their Lantern Parade through Old Trafford on Friday 13th of March at Shrewsbury Street Community Centre, assembling at 5:30pm. You can find out more about the parade and route here.

Talk..Don't Walk

HomelessTalk..Don't Walk is based in Warrington and they aim to help reduce the risk of a young person becoming a run away, or if they have already run away, stop them from repeat running. Around one in nine under 16 year olds will runaway overnight.

Missing People is the UK's only charity that works with young runaways, missing and unidentified people, their families and others who care for them.

The Runaway Helpline is a national, freephone confidential service for anyone who has run away from home or care, or been forced to leave home.

Domestic Violence - What is it?

Violence_2What is domestic violence?
Domestic violence is physical, sexual, psychological or financial violence that takes place within an intimate or family-type relationship and that forms a pattern of intimidating and controlling behaviour. This can include forced marriage and so-called 'honour crimes'.

Dodge the Bullet

*A new telephone hotline was launched on 19th November 2007, it has been set up to help young people escape a life of gun crime.
Dodge The Bullet is operated by specially trained community volunteers, they will provide information and raise awareness about services available to young people and anyone affected by gun and knife crime or gang violence.
