Stand Up Comedy Workshops

Gorse Hill Studios are holding Stand Up Comedy taster workshops for young people in Trafford.

Thursday 28th January @ Davyhulme Youth Centre

With weekly sessions beginning on 30th January and working towards a high quality stand up comedy showcase in Gorse Hill Studios theatre space in April (date TBC) where participants can share their Stand Up routines, sketches and comedy songs with friends.

The Open Lock Project

Open Lock ProjectThe project provides a unique learning and development opportunity for the young people of Trafford on our waterways through the provision of day programs, overnight stays and ‘competent crew’ courses including qualifications.

The Open Lock Project is managed by the Connexions Project Team.

The Open Lock Project consists of two custom built narrow boats namely the Prince William and Prince Harry.

Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award

Three of the 17 Young People from Trafford who have completed their Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award in 2006/2007 have attended a presentation ceremony at St. James's Palace in London on the 28th March 2007.
