National Enterprise Academy

entrepreneurThe National Enterprise Academy will deliver the UK’s first full time accredited qualifications in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.

If you are 16 - 19 year olds you could enrol on a BTEC course in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship at Level 2 or Level 3, they are the first ever full-time education programs in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.

Apprenticeship Grants for Employers

ApprenticeshipsThe National Apprenticeship Service will provide up to 5,000 Apprenticeship Grants for Employers of 16 and 17 year olds with a value of £2,500 to encourage employers to take on unemployed 16-17 year olds as apprentices.

The African Caribbean Business Consortium (ACBC) are running a 13 week programme for 16-19 year old people of African and African-Caribbean heritage.
