Trafford Youth Service

Trafford Youth Service is part of the Trafford Children's and Young Persons Service.

It provides new challenges for young people aged 11-25 years through providing informal education, youth empowerment and personal and social development opportunities.

This is available at youth centres, youth projects, the Talkshop, the Mobile Unit (advice and information) and Connexions Access Centres. All offer a range of facilities, resources, activities and training including young people's meeting places, an arts and music studio, Outdoor Education, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme, residentials and access to the UK Youth Parliament.

Young people’s participation and involvement is recognised and accredited through Youth Achievements Awards, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and Millennium Volunteer Award schemes.

The Youth Service promotes equality of opportunity in partnership with young people, the Voluntary Youth Sector and other agencies.
